It's the 10th anniversary of Seasonal Poets this Spring. Poet, Sarah Day, will mark the occasion with a celebratory reflection on this decade of poetry in the heart of Hobart.
Anne M Carson completed her PhD (responding to George Sand's life and work) which won the Outstanding Dissertation Prize (2024). She's developed this accessible and intriguing poetry into her 5th collection, George Sand (and Me): a poetic biography.
Kristen Lang is a writer and wildlife surveyor living in north-west Tasmania. Her precisely-crafted words immerse us in the aliveness of the natural world. You'll never feel the same way about rocks after hearing Kristen's poems.
David Mason, a former Poet Laureate of Colorado, migrated to Tasmania in 2018. He writes essays, libretti, as well as insightful poetry. He'll be reading from his latest exciting collection, Cold Fire.
