Read and Meet Tasmania

The Hobart Bookshop is excited to announce Read and Meet Tasmania – a new book club dedicated to Tasmanian fiction, where you'll discuss the book and then meet the author in person.

Five sessions are planned, each moderated by Meahd Farnaby, chair of TasWriters.

• Monday 28 September: The Department of the Vanishing by Johanna Bell
• Monday 19 October: The Endling by Keely Jobe
• Monday 9 November: Every Wild Soul by Katherine Johnson
• Monday 30 November: Half Truth by Nadia Mahjouri
• Monday 18 January: The Extraordinary Florence Stoker by Karen Brooks

Each 90-minute session opens with Meahd leading a discussion on the book, followed by a conversation with the author and audience Q&A.

Tickets are $10, redeemable for $10 off the featured title or any other Tasmanian fiction title of your choice.
